This spacious privately-owned Hawaiian style home in the quiet-neighborhood town of Kaneohe on Oahu's Windward (east) side, Hale Kuono (pronounced hah-lay Koo-oh-no)or House on the Bay, is located on the Island of Oahu, 20 minutes from Honolulu Airport close to many beautiful beaches, shopping areas, golf courses and many areas of interest. Hale Kuono opens up to a sparkling swimming pool with beautiful Kaneohe Bay right in your back yard featuring the highly photographed Chinamans Hat an offshore island in its midst.
Sharing the spirit of aloha, hosts Lei and Yorck offer you the warmest welcome on the island. Lei, born and raised in the islands, and Yorck, born and raised in Germany and living here for over 20 years, know the area well.
Two well-tended bedroom units are on opposite wings of the house and are downstairs from the hosts private upstairs quarters.
